🍀 LLaMa Drama: Meta's Language Model Leaked on 4chan

Meta's LLaMa language model has made its way to 4chan, where users reportedly run the smallest leaked model (7b parameters) on their own machines. This marks the first time a tech firm's proprietary AI model has leaked to the public. Meta is filing takedown requests to control its spread and the implications of the leak are yet to be seen.

Inflection AI, founded by DeepMind co-founder Mustafa Suleyman and LinkedIn Creator Reid Hoffman, is in discussions to raise up to $675mn. Inflection's goal is to revolutionize human-machine interaction with natural language capabilities. The company plans to launch a consumer product very soon.

🎬 StyleGAN-T makes real-time animation possible

A new GAN model called StyleGAN-T can create images from text in just 0.1 seconds, making it significantly faster than stable diffusion which takes 3.7 seconds per image. The breakthrough can help in real-time animations and other applications that require speedy image generation.
