🤖 Meta is building AI personas for Messenger and WhatsApp!

Meta plans to create 'AI personas' for Messenger and WhatsApp to help people in various ways through generative AI. Mark Zuckerberg announced that the company is creating a new product group focused on this technology but cautioned that there is still a lot of work to be done before something compelling can be built.

📝 Tech Giants Sign Guidelines on How to Share AI-Generated Content Responsibly

A group of 10 companies, including OpenAI and TikTok, have signed up to a new set of guidelines on how to build, create, and share AI-generated content responsibly. This includes disclosing when people might interact with AI-generated content and mandating watermarks on all AI-generated content. Will these guidelines make a difference, or will AI-generated content continue to be a wild west?
