🤖 ChatGPT Plus - a new monthly subscription plan for no more waiting time

ChatGPT, the conversational AI that can chat with you and answer follow-up questions, is now launching a pilot subscription plan, ChatGPT Plus. Subscribers will receive faster response times, priority access to new features and improvements, and general access to ChatGPT, even during peak times. 📰 Artifact: The AI-Driven News Aggregation App from the Creators of Instagram

The creators of Instagram, Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, are back with a new project: Artifact, an AI-driven news aggregation app. The app uses a recommendation algorithm that prioritizes the time you spend reading about certain subjects over clicks and comments. The app features news stories from both left and right-leaning outlets, but won't allow posts that promote falsehoods. The app also has a social component with a feed that highlights articles from users you follow, alongside their commentary.

Join the waiting list for the iOS and Android beta and be one of the first to experience the next generation of social apps.

🎤 Clone your Voice and tell long-form stories with a few clicks

Are you tired of hearing robotic and emotionless speech generated by AI platforms? Well, look no further! Introducing ElevenLab's new speech synthesis platform, which allows you to generate high-quality, emotionally compelling long-form content. Whether it's for news articles, books, blogs, or academic papers, their platform has got you covered. With the ability to choose from a set of pre-defined synthetic voices or clone a voice from a sample, the possibilities are endless.

The cool part about this is that you can clone your own voice, and it's pretty good!

💻 Navigating AI: The Rise of Mental Maps

In a recent research by Meta AI, blind AI navigation agents were trained to navigate spaces with only egomotion sensing. The findings showed that the agents utilized memory over long horizons and were able to exhibit intelligent behavior like following walls and taking shortcuts. This research highlights the emergence of maps and collision detection neurons in the agents' representations, proving the concept of mapping as a fundamental mechanism for navigation by intelligent embodied agents.
