MusicLM is a new model that generates high-quality music from text descriptions, such as "a calming violin melody backed by a distorted guitar riff." This AI tool outperforms previous systems in both audio quality and adherence to the text description. Additionally, MusicLM can also be conditioned on both text and a melody, allowing it to transform whistled and hummed melodies according to the style described in a text caption.

AI Research for the People: The National AI Research Resource Task Force 💻

The National AI research resource task force (NAIRR) recommends ways to improve access to resources for AI research in the US, aiming to keep the country at the forefront of AI innovation.
